The Iowa Professional Fire Fighters Association, representing nearly 2,000 dedicated professional firefighters across the Hawkeye State and is committed to the safety and well-being of not just the communities we serve, but also the firefighters who stand on the front lines to keep them safe.
Our priority is to ensure that Iowa's families, businesses, and visitors are kept safe, and that the brave fire fighters safeguarding them are supplied with the tools and equipment they need to provide excellence in public safety.
To achieve this, we proactively engage with elected officials and key community stakeholders, advocating for and helping to shape legislation that enhances safety standards throughout Iowa.
Our efforts are focused on passing laws and regulations that not only improve the safety environment for every Iowan, but also ensure that our firefighters have the necessary resources, training, and support to effectively keep our communities safe.
Our work extends beyond legislative advocacy. We are deeply involved in community outreach and education, aiming to foster a culture of safety and preparedness among the public.
Through these initiatives, we aim to minimize risks and empower our communities to be active participants in their own safety.
As we continue to build these collaborative efforts, the Iowa Professional Fire Fighters Association remains dedicated to its mission of safeguarding Iowans and ensuring our firefighters are prepared, protected, and proficient in their life-saving roles.
